The Five Dysfunctions of a Team

Book Review

It’s not often I sit down and read a book in a single sitting ( interpreted only for breakfast!)

I only wish I had read this and the other books by Patrick Lencioni years ago! It is such an easy read but profound in it’s messages.

I am a fan of the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People writer, Stephen Covey and The Five Dysfunctions of a Team reiterates and complements his writings.

I love the way Patrick Lencioni writes - as a narrative, a story in which you can identify with
people and situations you have found yourself in over the years.

Each chapter is about four pages long and leaves you eager to read on. Chapter titles like, Lighting the Fires, Entering the Danger, Ego, unpacked and delivered so much.

I didn’t know that staff meetings and movies had so much in common!

Patrick Lencioni founded The Table Group and you can visit the website, www.tablegroup.com for more information and a heap of other books he has written.

If you want to move forward as a team this is an excellent buy.

Might have to read The Five Tempations of a CEO too. No doubt I’ve given into temptation on numerous occasions!
